MedNet is expanding its portfolio of non-sterile, CE-marked components: In addition to numerous other angiography and infusion components, our introducer sets and scalpels are now also available in CE-marked versions. According to Article 12 of the Medical Device Directive (MDD) - from May Article 22 of the Medical Device Regulation (MDR) - kit packers may only use CE-marked components for their sets. MedNet offers CE-marked components in a non-sterile version. This reduces costs, regulatory effort and time in the manufacturing process compared to sterile products. MedNet offers high quality arterial introducers for femoral and radial vascular access. The introducers are available in conventional sizes; the radial versions in 5 and 6 French are optionally available with hydrophilic coating. MedNet's disposable scalpels can be used for any surgical procedure. Choose from a wide range of blade shapes and between short and long handles. We also offer safety scalpels with blade figures 10 and 11 as well as a suture ripper. All scalpels are made of ultra-sharp stainless steel.
