The nSyte series of needle-free connectors is designed for applications high flow rate infusion therapy. The straight flow channel allows an unlimited flow rate in the system and easy flushing. The easily wipeable membrane is flush with the edge of the valve, providing a flat, easily disinfectable surface. The membrane also provides a microbial barrier. The valve is particularly suitable for use in intensive care under increased hygiene regulations. The connector has a backflow resistance of 30PSI (2 bar) and offers leakage-free handling. nSyte is currently available as a single needle-free valve and as a Y-version with side access. n100 version has an ISO 80369-7 compliant female Luer Lock access and a male Luer Lock outlet and has a minimal dead space volume due to its short body. The N400 Y-connector is available with tube connections for different tube sizes. The female luer lock access is compatible with an ISO 80369-7 male luer lock or with a luer slip. These valves are manufactured using polycarbonates and silicones approved for medical applications .
